FAQ'S:

What areas do you service?
I service the following areas in Berks County, -Temple, Muhlenberg Township, Oley, Fleetwood, Laureldale, Blandon, Sinking Spring, Wyomissing, Mohnton, Shillington, West Lawn, Leesport, and  Douglassville.
**Service for additional areas can be discussed.**

How much notice do you normally need?
A week’s notification is ideal. If you are scheduling vacation sitting service, typically a week and a half to two weeks prior is ideal. However, in emergency situations I can make arrangements for same-day services. I suggest that pet owners make reservations for services as early as possible to ensure that they receive the requested dates and time frames for desired services.

Why should I use a professional pet sitting service over a doggie day care or boarding facility?
Hiring a professional sitter to come into your home relieves anxiety and stress for your pet(s) that often accompanies them when attending doggie day care and boarding facilities. Your pet(s) will be at ease and comfortable being in familiar surroundings. I know that being away from Mommy and Daddy is stressful enough without having to be without their own bed, toys, couch, and in some cases, pillows. You can customize a package so that your pet never strays from his or her normal routine (diet/exercise) in your absence. The risk of contracting an illness or disease from other pets is eliminated. Your pet(s) will receive one on one love and attention and neither you nor your pet(s) will be inconvenienced or stressed while traveling. Walk the Line Pet Care, LLC comes to you. I also provide special services that make your home appear as if you are there even when you are not. I can bring in your mail/papers, take out trash, and adjust lighting/window treatments, leave the TV/radio on as per your request.

What is your payment policy?
Payment is due on the first visit for vacation sitting, or on the date of service. Additional $5.00 charge for major holidays, and additional charges for emergency vet visits. (Major holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.) There is a $10.00 charge for key pick up if key is not retained after the first visit. There is also a $25.00 NSF Return Check Charge. I do not accept credit card payments.

Simply call 610-927-7776 or email walkthelinepetcare@hotmail.com to set up a free in-home consultation.  Free 20-30 minute consultation to meet and great your pet(s). This also includes a 15 minute 2nd visit closer to vacation time, if needed.

Things you need to have handy for this visit:
Up-to-date vaccination papers and Vet contact information. History of your pet(s). Daily routine. Diet/Allergies/Special Needs. A list of medications your pet needs with dosage amount and frequency. An emergency contact number for a friend or relative. A copy of your house key or alarm code.

About your House Key:
I will attach a tag to your key with the name of your pets. I will keep all keys and alarm codes locked up at all time. Once the service is complete, there are two options with regard to the key. It can be kept on file for future service, or I can return it once you are back home.
