Hi! My name is Jenn and I am the owner of Walk the Line Pet Care, LLC. I have been pet sitting dogs, cats, and small animals for family and friends since I was a teenager. I spent 16 years in Human Resources and after my first son was born, I began to pet sit more frequently. Ultimately, I left Corporate America and started pet sitting full time. I grew up with an assortment of dogs from Bichons, Terriers, and Pugs to Pit Bulls and Siberian Huskies. I have always loved large breed dogs and for the past 20 years have been the proud owner of Alaskan Malamutes. I have also had cats, bunnies, newts, mice, fish, ferrets, and snails so I am very comfortable taking care of small animals as well. I presently sit for Jack Russells, Rotweilers, Pit Bulls, Shepherds, Huskies, Mutts, Terriers, a charismatic Pomerian, Border Collies, and various Felines. I also sit for a myriad of small animals including rats, mice, chickens, frogs, lizards, turtles, fish, ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, and an assortment of birds.

I presently own an 8 year old Malamute named Sookie and prior to that my beloved June Carter whom I lost to liver and kidney disease at the age of 4 in 2010. I almost lost her for the first time at only 8 weeks old to Parvo, yet she was a very strong- willed girl and pulled through- but not without cost.  June Carter was never truly healthy and had food allergies as well as chronic liver issues. I very quickly became well versed in holistic and homeopathic medicinal treatments. I changed her diet to all organic and even home cooked for her. I did whatever was necessary to keep her happy, healthy, and comfortable for as long as she was meant to be a part of my family. My husband and I took her everywhere with us because she had severe separation anxiety, and because I didn't feel comfortable boarding her.
