About Us

June Carter at about 10 weeks old
Hi! My name is Jenn, and I am the owner of Walk the Line Pet Care, LLC. I have been pet sitting dogs, cats, and small animals for family and friends since I was a teenager. I spent 16 years working in Human Resources and after my son was born, I began to pet sit more frequently. Ultimately, I left corporate America and started pet sitting full time.
I grew up with an assortment of dogs from Bichons, Terriers, and Pugs, to Pit Bulls and Siberian Huskies. I have always loved large breed dogs and for the past 18 years have been a proud owner of Alaskan Malamutes. I have also had cats, newts, fish, mice, and ferrets, so I am very comfortable taking care of small animals as well. I presently sit for Jack Russells, Rotties, Pit Bulls, Shepherds, Black Labs, Mutts, a charismatic Pomeranian, a Border Collie, and various cats. I also sit for myriad small animals including rats, frogs, lizards, turtles, fish, ferrets, and birds.
I presently own a 6 1/2 year old female named Sookie and prior to that my beloved June Carter whom I lost to liver and kidney disease at the age of 4 in 2010. I almost lost her the first time at only 8 weeks old to Parvo, yet she was a very strong-willed girl and pulled through — but not without cost. June Carter was never truly healthy and had food allergies as well as chronic liver issues. I very quickly became well versed in holistic and homeopathic medicinal treatments. I changed her diet to all organic and even home cooked for her. I did whatever whatever was necessary to keep her as healthy, happy, and comfortable for as long as she was meant to be a part of my family. My husband and I took her everywhere with us because she had severe separation anxiety, and because I just didn’t feel comfortable boarding her.

I started Walk the Line Pet Care, LLC because I realize that there are so many others out there like me who love their pets and only want the best for them. Whether you are going on a weekend trip, a week-long getaway, or if your pet needs a mid-day walk allow me to provide my services to you. I will come and take excellent care of your pet(s) including: proper feeding per your instructions, walking, playing, and providing the most important components of all love and companionship.
